Definition of Cooperation for 4 - 7 year olds: Cooperation happens when two or more people help each other to make something good happen. It can also apply to animals or parts of a whole that need each other and work together.  An example of this is the human body – all the parts work together to make you healthy.

Summary:
This beautifully illustrated poem is about the extensive variety of flowers that attract pollinators. Some are tubular, others have special colors and smells - they all are designed by nature to call bees, moths, butterflies, bats, to capture and spread their pollen.  

Note to teachers: If students have not yet been introduced to pollination, briefly explain it. Flowers have two parts, a male part and a female part. Pollinators transfer pollen between these two parts which allows the plant to make seeds and reproduce. If we didn’t have flowers and pollinators, we wouldn’t be able to live on this planet.
