Definition:

Courage is being willing to face something hard or scary, like trying to do something you’ve never done before.

Do good, try hard even when it’s scary.

Summary:
Animals in the forest have a meeting in which they openly talk about being scared, what makes them afraid, and how they handle their fears.

1. What did the animals talk about in their meeting? 
2. Why was the squirrel scared? 
3. Why do you think the elephant didn’t want to talk about being scared? 
4. The rabbit saw someone get hurt.  Did that ever happen to you? What happened?  Did it make you scared?  
5. Did someone you like leave? Who was it and how did that make you feel?  
6. Have you ever been around people who are fighting? Did that make you scared? Why?  
7. Does your tummy hurt when you get scared? Do you get mad when you get scared? Who could you talk to when you get scared?

9. What can you do when you’re scared that will help you feel better?
